At the gold mining camp they have a table where anyone who wants to can "mine/pick out" garnets from the rocks.....I think only Laura, my mom, and Lois can visualize what I am talking about unless you live here. :) I spent HOURS delicately picking out my garnets in the cold windy weather!! Of course they are garnets in the rough...but I just love them and plan on making something spectacular out of them.
