When my sister and niece were here we of course had to stop at "Safety Road House"...the last Iditarod check point. Which means every musher MUST stop to "check in" and let their dogs rest at a specific set of check points..and Safety Road House being the last one before going into Nome. There are dollar bills all over the walls...when my mother was here two years ago we put dollars bills up...and it was so neat to have one with Caroline and Laura just one or two below ours. :)
