Iditarod

We had been tracking the mushers by internet (each musher had a tracking device on them so you can look on the map and see where they were). We knew the first musher was approximately 3.5 hours away....so we hopped on the snow machine and took off on the trail.....so there we were along the completely silent stark beautiful trail...a long ways ahead we had spotted the FIRST MUSHER...THE ONE THAT WAS GOING TO WIN THE 2013 IDITAROD GREATEST RACE IN ALASKA...so we pulled the snow machine over to wait...not wanted to startle the dogs with the loud machine.
So there we were patiently waiting when a snow machine pulls up beside us.....RATS we thought....turns out it was a camera crew getting photos along the trail....was nice to meet those guys.
