You can't see it by my pictures but the entire village of Newtok is sinking!! It is predicted that the whole village will be under water by around 2017. SCARY!! It's just a muddy water mess there. Great efforts are being made to move this village about 9 miles from it's current location. No money is allowed to be spent on it's currently location..even if something is desperately needed before the village gets moved. I absolutely LOVED this village. The people were so wonderful and kind...so welcoming!
