I leave for the village of Shaktoolik this morning for the week.
What a weekend...I worked most all the weekend at a new seafood/bakery restaurant that just opened weekends only in Nome....did some of everything. When I say I "worked", yes I worked like a dog but it was all volunteer as for the owners can not afford help quite yet. I brought my camera to take pictures but when I got there I hit the door running and when I left I was in such a hurry to leave from being overworked that I practically ran out the door. Will try to get some pictures soon....and will take pictures of Shaktoolik!
