Well....I have a four day trip to Stebbins next week....I have all my bags packed except for food. There is a "Midnight Sun Festival" this weekend (the 'biggest' weekend of the year)....music, parade, BBQ, Polar Bear Swim (you get a certificate if you run and dunk yourself in the ocean...no thanks!), homemade raft race down the Nome River.....we are really looking forward to it.....since I work tomorrow and Friday night and the festivities are all weekend thought I had better pack my bag now so I can be ready to fly Monday morning!
What a beautiful crisp night......of course I forgot my camera!!! I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the radio stations here....they play the OLD, OLD music.....so you can be cruising down along side the ocean listening to Bing Crosby! They also play a lot of old Bluegrass stuff.....sounds so good!
Sounds like a really fun weekend ahead! Next year, you and Iran will have to make a home-made raft and participate in the race!!!'
ReplyDeleteOur new vehicle came with a temporary subscription to Sirius satellite radio and Grant discovered the Bluegrass Junction channel on there....he listens to it NON-STOP!!!
